Destination Imagination

Congratulations to Princeton's Destination Imagination Fine Arts Team

Our D.I. team placed 2nd in the Fine Arts category with their dramatic performance of "Gold Goddess and the Evil Shadow King."  They collaborated for several months to create and perform a story about how the disappearance of a single color changes the world. The team developed colorful characters, an engaging set, and a vanishing act using technical theater.  The result was a humorous story with an ending focusing on the power of friendship. They performed their story for a panel of judges at the state level D.I. Competition and was awarded 2nd place.

What is Destination Imagination?

The Destination Imagination program is a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students’ creativity, courage and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), fine arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process. Teams may showcase their solutions at a tournament.

Princeton's Destination Imagination Team meets every Thursday after school until 4:30 P.M.
